After a well fought House Debate Competition we were delighted to welcome Jason McCartney into school to adjudicate our debate final. The motion was ‘This house suggests that social media bosses should be prosected for hate speech on their platforms’. The final was well fought out between Barson and Paxman, Jason commented how impressed he was with the debaters and he found it very difficult to choice a winner. After much deliberation he choose Paxman House and Mrs Edwards was delighted to win back the debate cup. Well done to all of our fantastic debaters and many thanks for the audience for challenging them with thoughtful questions.
